Manuel Salgado, also known as Manny, is the Head of Education Services at OutSystems. In this role, he oversees the company's education and training business, which includes bootcamps, certification programs, and a global network of Training Partners and Certified Trainers.

With over 26 years of experience in the education field, he possesses deep expertise in online and instructor-led training, instructional design, gamification, design thinking, and change management. He utilizes these skills to develop and deliver effective learning solutions for customers, partners, and internal teams. Manuel is also passionate about collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to build a customer-centric and holistic education strategy that fosters growth and innovation.

Before joining OutSystems, Manuel spent 13 years at Novabase, where he held roles such as Change Manager for Digital Transformation, Learning Experience Project Manager, and Learning Experience Designer. He led Novabase's change management team and managed projects in eLearning, Corporate Universities, and Interactive Multimedia Learning Contents. He also has experience as a Trainer and Online Tutor, and a Lecturer at ISEC.

His educational background includes an MBA from AESE/IESE Business School and a Masters (MA) in Information and Communications Technology in Education from UCL Institute of Education.
