Excelsoft Technologies with Digitizing Assessment Processes at Kasetsart University, Thailand

We firmly believe that education, empowered by innovative technology, holds the potential to drive significant societal change. We sincerely thank Kasetsart University (KU), Thailand, for generously sharing their transformative journey in navigating the complexities of Thailand's educational landscape. Their transition from traditional pen-and-paper exams to a digital platform demonstrates strategic foresight in overcoming the logistical challenges of administering summative exams to their extensive student body spread across campuses. By embracing a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) model, KU successfully addressed infrastructure constraints and conducted over 700,000 summative exams cost-effectively within three years. The digital platform enables over 2 million students to participate in university entrance examinations.

The British Council with British Council Primary English Test

Over the last decade, the impact of technology on all spheres of life has been dramatic, and education has been at the forefront of this. In developing and launching the Primary English Test, we have utilised Artificial Intelligence to make our assessment engaging, convenient and future-focused – as ever, our aim is to enhance the assessment experience for our customers, helping them to achieve their goals. This is the first British Council assessment product that is stage-adaptive (that is, it adapts to the level of the test-taker during the test session) powered by AI (specifically, automated scoring via machine learning) and we are deeply honoured to be acknowledged by the prestigious e-Assessment Association, which has promoted technology in assessment since 2008. This recognition will encourage us – as an organisation and as individuals – to keep striving for excellence as we continue to evolve alongside future technological trends. And of course, such an accolade will create more positive engagement with our valued customers.

Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) with Modernization and Transformation of Ontario's K-12 Large Scale Assessment Program

This acknowledgement highlights the dedication of EQAO’s team to enhancing our assessment practices, delivering an outstanding user experience for students, and providing meaningful data to Ontario’s education system. It also highlights the contributions of the Ontario educators who guide the development of EQAO’s assessments and administer them in classrooms across the province.
